The Pathways weekend is an intensive preparation for the ICF exam.  A sample "full scope" exam is distributed on a Saturday morning a few weeks before the last session. It must be returned in 48 hours, just like the ICF process.  The exams are graded by the faculty MCCs, and the graded exams are returned to the students on the first day of the last session.

All questions and answers are reviewed and discussed in detail in the class so that students better understand the differentiation between good (and great) answers and those that might cause a student to fail.  This also provides a more clear understanding of the differences between ACC-level, PCC-level, and MCC-level answers.

The balance of session is spent on deep listening skills and coaching, coaching, coaching.  Volunteer clients are recruited to be coached by the students, under faculty supervision. They receive feedback from both the coachees and also from the faculty about the quality of their coaching.

It's an intense weekend. Students leave exhausted and exhilarated.
